Your Starting Point for AI Governance
The ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation course provides a comprehensive introduction to AI Management Systems (AIMS) and the requirements of the world's first international standard for AI governance. It covers context understanding, policy establishment, risk management planning, support, operation, performance evaluation, internal audits, management reviews, and continual improvement.
No prior knowledge of ISO standards or AI governance is required. This course is deliberately designed as an accessible entry point — giving you the conceptual grounding to support AI initiatives, engage meaningfully with governance processes, and progress to the Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor tracks when ready.

Two Days, Two Tracks
Day 1 — 6 July
Introduction to artificial intelligence management systems (AIMS) and ISO/IEC 42001 — scope, structure, key clauses, and foundational governance principles.
Day 2 — 7 July
Artificial intelligence management system (AIMS) in practice, followed by the PECB Foundation certificate exam (1 hour).
